The final deliverable includes the successful preparation and organisation of 9 events including all necessary reports. This shall be documented in a final report summarising of the activities carried out under this task.

Member States' use of the MSFD in the planning and operation of human activities
Specific contract - Analysis of Member States' use of the MSFD in the planning and operation of human activities, including authorisation, permitting and licensing procedures

The overall objectives of this contract are to understand, map, compare and analyse the use of licensing, authorisations and permitting for human activities in the marine environment at national level in relation to the MSFD and the attainment of GES by 2020, with a view to producing a guidance document on the use of licensing, authorisations and permitting for such human activities.

Technical support for the Technical Groups on Marine Litter and Underwater Noise
Specific contract - Administrative, organisational and technical support for the Technical Groups on Marine Litter and Underwater Noise

To provide administrative, organisational and logistic support to these two established Technical Groups in support of the implementation of their work programme. Thereafter, there were regular progress reports and suggestions for further work presented and discussed at the MSCG. The contract shall build on the work of the secretariat of the two groups which was in place since 2013.
